Timeline for the 2011-2012 Competition

 

Registration opens	September 1, 2011
Registration Deadline	December 30, 2011 by 11:59 p.m. (EST)
Electronic Submission Deadline	March 5 , 2012 by 8:00 a.m. (EST)
Finalists Notification	March 26, 2012

 

The architectural engineering programs may have the students present their projects to their peers and faculty, and receive comments and suggestions from them during the preliminary design and design development stages of the project.

The Judges will review the electronic submittals received on March 5, 2012 and will select the finalist teams by March 26, 2012. 

Presentation of finalists will occur at the AEI national student conference scheduled for April 19 to 21, 2012 in Omaha, Nebraska.  The Judges will select the winners and runners-up in each category, including the new Innovation Category.  The event will be broadcast by video to all the architectural engineering programs and the winning entries will be published on the web.
