Practitioner & Faculty Advisor Training Workshop

The Committee on Student Activities (CSA) invites ASCE Student Chapter and International Student Group advisors to participate in the annual ASCE Practitioner and Faculty Advisor Training Workshop (PFATW). The PFATW is designed to enhance advisor effectiveness by:

• Providing the tools advisors need to help their student organization function;
• Creating a network of advisors;
• Developing leadership abilities; and
• Assisting advisors in understanding their roles with the student organization.

This year, the workshop will be held near ASCE Headquarters in Reston, VA on August 8-9, 2008. Approximately 30 advisors will be selected to participate in the workshop.
