Practitioner & Faculty Advisor Training Workshop

The Committee on Student Activities (CSA) invites ASCE Student Chapter and International Student Group advisors to participate in the annual ASCE Practitioner and Faculty Advisor Training Workshop (PFATW). The PFATW is designed to enhance advisor effectiveness by:

• Impart the vision of the value and purpose of ASCE Student Organizations;
• Give advisors the tools they need to make their ASCE Student Organization function;
• Create a network of ASCE Faculty and Practitioner Advisors;
• Develop the leadership abilities of the Faculty Advisor; and
• Assist Faculty and Practitioner Advisors in understanding his/her role in working with the Student Organization.

 

The next workshop will be held in September 2010. Approximately 30 advisors will be selected to participate in the workshop.  More information on the 2010 PFATW is available by contacting Student Services at (800) 548-2723 ext. 6105 or student@asce.org.
