ASCE serves as a membership hub to the global civil engineering marketplace through which each member can form and cultivate their own personal network of business contacts and professional resources.

• Get active in local Sections and Branches. All ASCE members are encouraged to enhance their national membership and connect with local colleagues by joining an ASCE local Section or Branch currently located in 50 states and 12 countries. Many of the Sections and Branches offer targeted programs for Younger members (age 35 and under).

• Make volunteerism an organizational priority. Support your employees’ careers and enhance your organization’s reputation by offering your talents and voice to the civil engineering community through any number of volunteer opportunities ASCE affords to your organization. 

• Give back to the profession through organizational philanthropy. Through an organizational commitment to an established ASCE volunteer activity or through your support of the ASCE Foundation, you gain valuable exposure and goodwill within the civil engineering community.

• Give top talent high-profile public speaking opportunities. Raise the brand awareness of your organization and its experience by offering to support registration and travel costs for employees who agree to speak and share their expertise on important topics at ASCE conferences.
