Agreement of Cooperation Societies
What is an Agreement of Cooperation?
In 1985, the Agreement of Cooperation was established to facilitate communication and joint activities among engineering organizations around the world. The agreement between ASCE and a counterpart society in another country is to exchange technical, scientific, and professional information to better serve their membership and the engineering profession. To date, ASCE has 70 Agreements of Cooperation with societies around the world. It is the intent of the International Activities Committee that these contracts result in active communication and cooperation in joint projects.
