The Outstanding Projects And Leaders (OPAL) Gala
This Gala is the event at which the Society presents OPAL leadership awards (for people), Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement (OCEA) awards (projects), Charles Pankow Award for Innovation (award for innovation), Henry L. Michel Award for Industry Advancement of Research (award for an individual who influences construction research) and ASCE Excellence in Journalism Award (award for journalists that advance the public's understanding of engineering).
