On behalf of steering committee, the Environmental & Water Resources Institute (EWRI), and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), we invite you to join us in Bangkok, Thailand for an event you won't want to miss!
We take great pleasure in announcing the EWRI's 2nd developing nations conference: Thailand 2009 - An International Perspective on Environmental and Water Resources being held January 5-7, 2009. The on emphasis will be focused on global effect of regional issues and solutions. Participants, including paper presenters and attendees, will include engineers, scientists, planners, economists, and legal professionals from all over the globe.
This event will build on the great success of EWRI's previous developing nations conference, India 2006, which was held in New Delhi, India in December 2006. EWRI collaborated with the India Institute of Technology (IIT) to organize the event. India 2006 was
well received by participants from all over the world and attracted approximately 300 registrants. For Thailand 2009, EWRI is collaborating with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT)
EWRI looks forward to once again welcoming international colleagues its second developing nations conference at an attractive Thailand location.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION
The AIT Welcome Team will be at the airport on Jan 3rd and 4th from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. only to guide participants to the taxi counter and to assist participants in obtaining taxi transportation to their hotel.
Participants arriving between 8 am and 8 pm should go to the meeting point at Gate 3 and look for the EWRI-AIT Conference placard.
- Participants arriving before 8 a.m. or after 8 p.m may either go to Gate 10 to get a taxi or wait for the AIT staff near Gate 3 to assist them.
Maps are now available in English and in Thai to assist in travel from local airports to the Asian Institute of Technology. It is recommended to download the AIT location map in both English and Thai to show taxi drivers or other local transportation providers.
