When you arrive on-site at Congress and go to the registration desk to pick up your name badge, please look in the back of the badge holder to see that all the tickets to events you plan to attend are there.  It is important when registering that you check-mark all events you plan to attend, even if it's part of your registration, so you will have a ticket.  If you don't have a ticket when you try to get into the event, you will be instructed to go back to the registration desk to confirm you are eligible for the event and get the ticket.

Release/Waiver Notes

Photograph Release: By submitting the Registration form, I hereby release any photographs that may be incidentally taken of me during these events by ASCE/SEI to be used for any purpose.

Liability Waiver: I agree and acknowledge that I am undertaking participation in ASCE/SEI events and activities at my own free and intentional act, and I am fully aware that possible physical injury might occur to me as a result of my participation. I give this acknowledgement freely and knowingly that I am, as a result, able to participate in ASCE/SEI events, and I do hereby assume responsibility for my own wellbeing. I also agree not to allow any other individual to participate in my place.

Flex Registration Package includes:

SEI recognizes that companies and organizations need to balance educating their employees against non-billable hours spent out of the office. The Flex Registration package consists of four (4) registration badges, which will have the company or organization name on them rather than an individual's name. Each badge can be passed easily among several employees, enabling partial or full-day attendance, depending on your organizations need.

Full packages must be purchased and additional badges cannot be added. Guest registration and student & young professional events cannot be added to the Flex Registration Package.

The Flex Registration package includes:

  • Access to technical sessions for individuals wearing Flex badges
  • Access to Exhibit Hall, including a.m. & p.m. breaks, for individuals wearing Flex badges
  • One (1) copy of Proceedings CD
  • Four (4) tickets to the Welcome Reception in Exhibit Hall - Ticket Event
  • Four (4) tickets to the CASE Breakfast - Ticket Event
  • Guest registration and student and young professional events cannot be added to the Flex Registration Package.
  • Additional tickets can be purchased for other events where tickets are required; see page 12 for Additional Event Ticket prices.


Early Bird Registration Discount (EB)

Don't miss out! Register early for the best savings. The deadline for Early Bird registration is Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Registration, either on-line or paper forms, must have complete payment information and be RECEIVED by this date to qualify for the Early Bird (EB) registration discount.

Advance Registration Discount (ADV)

The deadline for Advance registration is Thursday, March 13, 2014. Registration, either on-line or paper forms, must have complete payment information and beRECEIVED by this date to qualify for the Advance registration discount.

On-site Registration (ONS)

Although you will have to pay the On-site registration fee, you are encouraged to go on-line and register anytime after March 13.  After this date, registrations must be secured with a credit card. If you are paying by credit card, please register online at ww.structurescongress.org or download the PDF registration form and submit it onsite along with your full credit card payment information. To avoid having to stand in longer lines at the on site registration desk, strongly consider registering on-line up to a day before you arrive.  Bring a copy of the confirmation email to the Congress On-Site Registration Desk and your tickets + badge can be printed quickly for you. 

Deadline of Standard Mailing through the U.S. Postal Service

Please do not mail registration forms through the U.S. Postal Service AFTER March 13, 2014 in order to ensure your registration is processed onsite.  After this date, registrations must be secured with a credit card. If you are paying by credit card, please register online or download the PDF registration form and submit it onsite along with your full credit card payment information.

Confirmation of Registration

A confirmation will be e-mailed to all registrants within one week of registering for the Conference. Early Bird and Advance registrants will receive their name badges and any tickets ordered at the on-site ASCE/SEI Pre-Registration Desk during registration hours. If you do not receive confirmation within one week, please contact ASCE/SEI Registration at 800-548-2723 and ask to speak with Customer Service, or e-mail REGISTRATIONS@ASCE.ORG. Please reference STRUCTURES CONGRESS 2014 in the subject line.

Program and Session Cancellation

ASCE/SEI reserves the right to cancel programs and/or sessions because of low registration. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, all registrants will be notified and will receive a full refund, if applicable. Programs and sessions are subject to change, and ASCE/SEI reserves the right to substitute a program, session, and/or speaker of equal caliber to fulfill educational requirements.

Payment Information

Acceptable forms of payment include:

  • CHECK: Payable to ASCE/STRUCTURES CONGRESS 2014, in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank. You must include attendee's name in the memo area of the check.
  • CREDIT CARD: American Express, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and Diners Club
  • PURCHASE ORDER: P.O. #, company name/address or other bill address (this includes Government P.O. use)

Forms will not be processed without payment or copy of purchase order.


Cancellations must be sent in writing or via e-mail prior to Thursday, March 13, 2014.

A refund will be issued minus a $65 processing fee, if the cancellation notice is received by ASCE by that date. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after the three-week deadline of Thursday, March 13, 2014. Send cancellations to registrations@asce.org or fax to 703-295-6144.

The on-site Registration Desk may close each day for staff to get lunch. If no staff are present in the registration area, please come back about an hour later.
