WELCOME

You Are Invited!

On behalf of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), we would like to invite you to "Forge Connections in the Windy City!"  Join us in Chicago from March 29-31, 2012, at the Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park - the site of the 43rd Structures Congress.

The ASCE/SEI Structures Congress is your annual opportunity to broaden your technical knowledge, sharpen your business skills, deepen your understanding of cutting-edge research, and network with your peers and colleagues. The 2012 program will include 11 concurrent technical tracks that focus on the theme:Forging Connections in the Windy City." The sessions will demonstrate processes and present projects that are redefining structural engineering in the areas of bridge and transportation structures, buildings, and advances in research. You will exchange ideas with your peers and learn how other companies have adapted to changes in today’s global economy. The Congress presents a tremendous opportunity to earn PDH's and gain new knowledge so that you and your business will thrive. You can view the full technical program by clicking here.

This year's Congress schedule includes pre-conference seminar opportunities starting on Wednesday, March 28.  Thursday, the Congress kicks off and will offer technical sessions, the Opening Luncheon and Awards Program as well as an evening Welcome Reception in the exhibit hall. Friday will include the CASE Breakfast, technical sessions, and the Grand Opening Reception at the Mid-America Club. Saturday we offer technical session in the morning, a closing luncheon with speaker and post conference seminars in the afternoon.

You won’t want to miss the Thursday evening Welcome Reception in the Exhibit hall and Friday night’s social event at the exclusive Mid-America Club **. Located on the 80th floor of the Aon Center in the East Loop, The Mid-America Club is the only club in Chicago that offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the city’s distinctive skyline and incomparable vistas of Lake Michigan, Millennium Park, and the Gold Coast.

Be sure to plan on visiting the Exhibit Hall packed with the latest products and services from leading suppliers and service companies in the structural engineering community.

See you in Chicago!
