Friday, May 1, 2009

9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m

The Structures Congress tour of the Center occurs during the height of the wildflower season in the Texas Hill Country. Join us for a tour of the world-famous bluebonnets!

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, located in Southwest Austin, was created to showcase the beauty of wildflowers and other native plants. The Center serves as a leader in preservation of the ecological diversity of native flora of the Central Texas Hill Country, South and West Texas, and is also a research center for the University of Texas. The public gardens, meadows, and woodlands at the Center display a broad variety of North America’s native plants and natural landscapes. For more information, please visit www.wildflower.org.
