Welcome

The Steering Committee cordially invites you to attend ASCE's Pipelines 2012 Conference in Miami Beach, Florida, August 19 thru 22, 2012. We sincerely look forward to your participation in the conference as a presenter, sponsor, exhibitor and/or attendee in this specialty conference. We see the conference as a wonderful opportunity to network with our industry colleagues, to promote the sharing of  "lessons learned", and "doing more with less". Our goal is for you to leave the conference with greater insight to increase efficiencies/savings, economically extend the useful life of existing infrastructure and lower the overall costs of future projects.

ASCE's specialty annual Pipeline Conference has a great history of success, with up to 600 attendees and 60 to 70 exhibitors annually. It is one of the best ongoing conferences serving the "Pipeline" industry and related Engineering profession. Owners, consultants, academia, contractors, suppliers and manufacturers from around the world attend this annual conference.

The conference will begin on Saturday, August 18 with the PCCP Forum. Pre-Conference Workshops will be available on Sunday, August 19. The Welcome Reception on Sunday evening will mark the start of the official conference. Conference organizers are developing the technical tracks with sessions beginning the morning of Monday, August 20, to enhance the opportunities for attendees to hear and participate in discussions with industry leaders in the topic areas of their choice.

The conference will be held at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach, Florida. To see the attractions in the Miami Beach area, please see http://www.miamiandbeaches.com/visitors/.

Reasons to attend:

  • Workshops, technical papers, and panel discussions will be organized to cover special topics and recent regulatory initiatives in the water, wastewater, oil and gas industries. Topics will include: Advances In Technology, Construction, Condition Assessment, Design Management and Operations & Management.
  • Excellent venue to display and demonstrate your products and services to the "right" people.
  • Great Summer "Get-Away" with lots of activities for family, including the world famous sand/waters of Miami Beach and all related activities, places such as The Art Deco Colony Theater, excellent nightlife and delightful dining at nationally recognized restaurants such as Joe's Stone Crab (legendary for its maitre d' and well worth the long waits).
