Student Days Program

(by invitation only)

ASCE’s Construction Institute (CI) has developed Student Days - a unique program designed for civil engineering students to provide a unique opportunity for an experience that has been created to bring classroom lessons to life.

Throughout the highly interactive and challenging program, students participate in ASCE conference technical sessions, develop leadership skills, go on a project site tour, and network to gain a broader understanding of the many exciting professional opportunities available after graduation. The program is built around a Heavy Civil Engineering Challenge - that has students work together to solve a real-world engineering problem. The Heavy Civil Engineering Challenge encourages team building, while also providing the perfect opportunity for students to demonstrate their skills and talents to prospective employers by working closely with corporate mentors throughout the project and presenting their best solutions to industry stakeholders and evaluators. CI and Pipelines are teaming up to help students get a head start on the journey of life after college with tools for success and early access to industry possibilities.
