SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY'S EMERGENCY & OPERATIONAL STORAGE SYSTEM - 12:00pm - 4:00pm

San Diego County Water Authority says it is the tallest dam raise project ever in the country.  The San Vicente Dam Raise is part of the Emergency Storage Project designed to double its storage capacity, in order to make water available to the San Diego region in the event of an interruption in imported water deliveries.

Join us as we visit several key components including the San Vicente Dam Raise, pumping station, surge control facility and connecting pipelines.  Lunch will be provided.
