Technical Tour: Dulles Corridor Metro Rail Project

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority extension of the Dulles Corridor Metro Rail is one of the most exciting and complex projects currently under construction in the Washington, D.C. area. The 23-mile expansion of the existing Metro Rail system will provide high-quality, high-capacity transit service in the rapidly growing Dulles Corridor.

The project involves construction of 11 new stations and relocation of 21 different utility systems. Currently Phase 1 of the project is under construction. This work consists of an 11-mile extension from West Falls Church to Reston with five new stations.

Tour participants will view project highlights with a knowledgeable tour guide, and stops are scheduled along the way.

Space on the tour is extremely limited, so sign up quickly!

Maximum number: 20 participants

Special requirements: Hard hats, safety goggles, and safety vests will be provided. Participants must wear sturdy shoes - no sandals, open-toe shoes, tennis shoes, or sneakers.

Registration Fee: $30 Advance, $40 Onsite.

Sightseeing Tour: A Taste of D.C.

Join your colleagues on the Taste of D.C. sightseeing tour featuring some of Washington, D.C.’s most renowned attractions. This is mainly a bus tour, but arrangements may be made for a brief stop at some of the attractions. Don’t miss photo opportunities at the White House and Capitol Building - the two oldest federal buildings in Washington! Other highlights include:
