Final Paper Submission Instructions:

All authors whose abstracts have been accepted for an oral presentation must upload an electronic copy of their draft final technical paper with complete contact information (mailing address, telephone and fax numbers, and email address of each author) to http://submissions.miracd.com/ASCE/ICVRAM_ISUMA2011 by Thursday, October 14, 2010.

Final papers are due Wednesday, December 15, 2010.

The primary author should also be indicated. Submissions are limited to three per author/co-author.

To assist you in preparing your paper, manuscript preparation guidelines are available at http://pubs.asce.org/authors/book/proceedingssub/ConfProcAuthorGuideCamReady.htm.

Papers must be written in English and should be no more than eight (8) pages in length, inclusive of all figures, bibliography, charts, photographs, etc. Please follow the guidelines, paying special attention to margins and the preparation of graphics.

Be sure to complete the Copyright Transfer Agreement on the Permissions page of the MIRA paper management system.

Please note that all presenting authors must register for the Conference and pay the appropriate fees - see section below on Paper Deposit Fees.

Paper Deposit Fees:

Authors are requested to submit a final paper along with the paper deposit fee of $150 by Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Submitting a paper for the Conference constitutes agreement that, if their paper is accepted, the author will register for the Conference at the appropriate fee(s), attend the Conference, and make their presentations in person.

Paper deposit fees are paid via credit card through the MIRA paper management system at the time of final paper upload. The paper deposit fee will be credited towards the Conference registration for the author submitting the final paper. Upon acceptance of the paper, a registration discount code and registration instructions will be forwarded to the author.

Authors uploading more than one paper will pay only one deposit fee. If an individual uploads a paper but a substitute author will present the paper, please note the deposit fee will not apply to the substitute’s registration fee.

All paper deposit fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable, and payment of the paper deposit fee does not guarantee the author a copy of the proceedings. Authors must attend the Conference to receive the proceedings.

Should an individual pay the deposit fee but fail to register for the Conference by January 4, 2011, the individual’s paper will be removed from the Conference program and proceedings, and the deposit will not be refunded. All expenses associated with the preparation, submission, and presentation of abstracts and papers are the responsibility of the author(s).

Draft papers must be uploaded by October 14, 2010; final papers must be uploaded by December 15, 2010. No exceptions to these deadlines will be made.
