Draft Papers
Individual papers must be uploaded by March 10, 2010 to http://icse5.ce.gatech.edu/submissions/openconf.php. Authors are required to submit their paper according to the guidelines for Geotechnical Special Publications available at: http://www.geoinstitute.org/files/pdf/GSPrevised8-12.pdf. Papers will be peer-reviewed and produced as proceedings for distribution to full conference registrants as part of the registration fee. Proceedings will also be available for sale through ASCE Publications.

Author Policy
ASCE, Geo-Institute, or EWRI-ASCE membership is not required for submission. Authors whose abstracts and draft papers are selected should submit a final paper along with the paper deposit fee that will be credited towards the conference registration. All papers accepted for the conference constitute agreement that the author(s) pay a paper deposit when the final paper is accepted on July 15, 2010, and will register for the conference at the appropriate fee(s), attend the conference, and make their presentations in person.
Expenses
All expenses associated with the preparation, submission and presentation of abstracts and papers are the responsibility of the authors and co-authors. This includes camera-ready manuscripts and illustrations. Scholarship and/or travel funds are not available for conference attendees. Authors must register for the conference and pay the paper deposit fee at the time they submit their final (accepted) paper for publication. All papers accepted for the conference constitute agreement that the author(s) will register for the conference at the appropriate fee(s), attend the conference and make their presentations in person.
