Submittal Process And Deadlines
Key dates in the paper submission and review process are:

»» Technical Session Proposals, Various Other Proposals and Abstracts Due: April 24, 2009
»» Notification of Acceptance of Proposals and Abstracts: May 8, 2009
»» Draft Papers Due: July 27, 2009
»» Review Decision on Draft Papers: September 23, 2009
»» Final Papers Due: October 28, 2009

ASCE or Geo-Institute membership is not required for submission. Authors whose abstracts and draft papers are selected should submit a final paper along with the paper deposit fee that will be credited towards the conference registration. All papers accepted for the conference constitute agreement that the author(s) pay a $150 paper deposit when the final paper is accepted on October 28, 2009, and will register for the conference at the appropriate fee(s), attend the conference, and make their presentations in person.

Expenses

All expenses associated with the preparation, submission and presentation of abstracts and papers are the responsibility of the authors and co-authors. This includes camera-ready manuscripts and illustrations. Scholarship and/or travel funds are not available for conference attendees. All attendees are required to pay conference registration fees.
