Sacramento and Northern California

The conference will be held at the Sacramento Convention Center, which is across the K-Street pedestrian mall from the conference host venue; the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel.  The Convention Center is immediately adjacent to the California State Capital in downtown Sacramento. The K-street pedestrian mall offers a vibrant array of restaurants, bistros, an IMAX theatre, and the performing arts center, and also connects (15 min walk) to the Old Sacramento tourist area along the river front.

The Sacramento International Airport (SMF) provides convenient access with flights to most major US airports.  It takes about 15 minutes to drive from the airport, located just north of Sacramento, to the conference hotel in downtown Sacramento.

Sacramento, located right in the middle of Northern California, serves as an ideal gateway from which to discover the many natural and man-made wonders of the Golden State.  From Yosemite National Park, to the wine country, Lake Tahoe and San Francisco – it’s all within a short drive from Sacramento.
