Boston Technical Tour
8:30 AM– 4:30 PM
A guided tour of recent and current projects involving significant instrumentation in Boston which will include tour of Central Artery-Tunnel project – the largest public works project ever undertaken in the United States. Project staff will present general scope of work and role of instrumentation to the project. Assemble at 8:30 a.m. in Park Plaza Hotel Lobby. Lunch at famous “No-Name Restaurant on Fisherman’s Wharf. Will return to hotel at 4:30 p.m.

New England Cultural Tour
9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Experience the gently rolling New England countryside, awash with the colors of Indian Summer. Travel past quiet ponds and ancient farms, weathered roadside taverns and sturdy colonial churches. Enjoy a hot yankee-style lunch at a quaint New England tavern nestled in the heart of the mountains. A pleasant afternoon of foliage display is capped by a stop at a native orchard for apples and cider.

New York City Technical Tour
9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
A guided tour to World Trade Center site reconstruction and EastSide Access Project involving twin bored tunnels from Queens to Manhattan. Participants will be able to look down onto sites from adjacent office buildings. Project staff will describe general scope of work and instrumentation program at each site. Meet at 9:00 a.m. at Starbucks at 125 Park Ave., SE corner of 42nd St. and Park Ave. Return to same place at 4:30 p.m.
