San Andreas Fault Jeep Tour

8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

The adventure begins the moment you board your big red jeep and depart on an exciting jeep eco-tour of the San Andreas Fault. On your journey, you will learn about the desert’s plants, animals, history, geology, and earthquakes. Ride through a natural palm oasis, spectacular box and slot canyons, and an ancient fossil bed as your 7-passenger open air, shaded-top jeep winds its way through the incredible labyrinth of geological cuts and canyons of the San Andreas Fault Zone. This tour includes a short guided nature walk (geared to the abilities of guests in each jeep), several opportunities to get out of the jeep and see the desert up close, and a tour of the Epicenter Earthquake Education Center, which features photos, displays, and interactive demonstrations of the San Andreas Fault, geology, and earthquakes.

Includes transportation, naturalist driver/guide, and lunch. Dress appropriately for
hot sunny conditions and bring sunscreen and adequate water. Good footwear and hats are
essential.
