International Attendees - Invitation
Invitation Letter Request Instructions:
- Please fill out the required fields of name, address, and e-mail address.
- Send requests to Sakshi Ahuja at: adicken@asce.org and your invitation letter will be prepared and sent by airmail to the address that you provide, and a copy in pdf format via e-mail.
- Letters may be faxed if requested. Please provide us with a fax number and indicate that you would like the letter faxed in addition to the original airmailed copy.

U.S. Department of State provides information on traveling to the United States regarding passports, international travel, etc. Their Web site is accessible via http://travel.state.gov/travel/tips/regional/regional_1170.html.
- If you are unable to obtain a Visa, cancellations must be received in writing at ASCE Headquarters by Wednesday, April 16, 2008, to receive a refund of registration fees. A $50 Processing fee will be deducted from all refunds. We recommend you apply for your Visa at least 30 days prior to your conference travel dates.
Letters cannot be e-mailed or sent to the Embassy or U.S. Consulate. ASCE cannot intervene on behalf of the invitees with the Embassy or U.S. Consulate via fax, phone, surface mail, or e-mail.

Visiting International Fellowship
The International Council of the Environmental and Water Resources Institute (EWRI) annually awards three Visiting International Fellowships to attend the annual Congress. The 2008 Fellows have been selected, and are as follows:

During the conference, each Fellow will 1) give a presentation at the conference on his/her research or a water/environmental resources issue in his/her country in a technical
session, and 2) participate with other international fellows in a panel discussion on international water/environmental resource issues as a representative of his/her country. Please look for these presentations in your conference program.
