Be sure to complete the Copyright Transfer Agreement on the Permissions page of the MIRA paper management system.

Please note that all presenting authors must register for the Conference and pay the appropriate fees - see section below on Paper Deposit Fees.

Paper Deposit Fees:

Authors are requested to submit a final paper along with the paper deposit fee of $150 by Wednesday, May 4, 2011.

Submitting a paper for the Conference constitutes agreement that, if their paper is accepted, the author will register for the Conference at the appropriate fee(s), attend the Conference, and make their presentations in person.

Paper deposit fees are paid via credit card through the MIRA paper management system at the time of final paper upload. The paper deposit fee will be credited towards the Conference registration for the author submitting the final paper. Upon acceptance of the paper, a registration discount code and registration instructions will be forwarded to the author.

Authors uploading more than one paper will pay only one deposit fee. If an individual uploads a paper but a substitute author will present the paper, please note the deposit fee will not apply to the substitute’s registration fee.

All paper deposit fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable, and payment of the paper deposit fee does not guarantee the author a copy of the proceedings. Authors must attend the Conference to receive the proceedings.

Final papers must be uploaded by May 4, 2011. No exceptions will be made.

The Conference on Coastal Engineering Practice Conference Proceedings will be published as a copyrighted work of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Final papers of oral presentations and poster sessions will appear on CDs of the conference proceedings distributed to attendees at the conference.  The ASCE Publications Department markets proceedings volumes worldwide. Individual copies of conference papers can be obtained from the ASCE Research Library.
