Taxi Services

Taxis depart from the Terminal B baggage claim area at the ground level. A taxi coordinator is stationed in the Taxi Booth from 5:30 a.m. until the last flight of the day to assist passengers with questions or concerns.

Except in case of an expressed agreement or if a fixed fare is applicable, the fare meter shall be engaged. If the fare amount is based on an expressed agreement between the passenger and the driver, the agreed price is to be established prior to departure.

A Wheelchair Accessible taxicab is available from the Airport thru Yellow Cab Co. Air Travelers can request this taxicab from the Airport's Taxi Starter. There's no extra charge for this capability.

Each weekday, Memphis Area Transit Authority proudly transport nearly 40,000 riders throughout Memphis and the surrounding areas on 244 transit vehicles including paratransit vans, vintage rail trolleys and conventional accessible buses. We serve four (4) cities in Shelby County and West Memphis in Arkansas. Our authentic vintage trolleys offer a nostalgic trip to some of downtown's most notable attractions and a breathtaking view of the mighty Mississippi River along the magnificent Riverfront.

Rental Car Information

Courtesy phones located near the exits in all baggage claim areas may be used to contact car rental agencies. All rental agencies are located off the airport and each provides its own courtesy shuttle. The shuttle stop is outside the baggage claim area underneath the overhead signs. Minimum car rental is normally for one day. Hours for each company are varied; please check with the company for their hours of operation.
