ASCE 139th Annual Civil Engineering Conference

The American Society of Civil Engineers would like to extend a warm welcome and thanks to those individuals who have agreed to speak or moderate sessions taking place at ASCE's 139th Annual Civil Engineering Conference in Kansas City, Missouri. Without your commitment and those of many others, the Conference would not be the event we know it will be.

As the Conference draws near, the following information will be useful in finalizing plans for your trip to Kansas City. To ensure a successful session, please review the information pertaining to your role as a speaker at the conference and adhere to the following procedures.

Registration:

All speakers are required to register and pay appropriate registration fees. If you have not yet registered for the Conference, please contact Linda Cirksena in order receive the special speaker rate. Click here for more registration details. Upon your arrival at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown, please proceed to the Annual Conference registration desk to check in and pick up your registration packet and receive your speaker ribbon.

Hotel:

The Conference will be held at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown from October 29-31, 2009. In order to take advantage of the special conference rate, you must make your reservations directly with the hotel before September 30, 2009.

This form will be used by your moderator to introduce you.

Audio Visual Request Form

Standard equipment in each room: LCD projector, screen, wired lavalier microphone, lectern with microphone and 4-Channel mixer. Please fill out this form if you need any other audio/visual equipment.

 

Note: A PowerPoint template will be emailed to all speakers to be used for any presentations at the Annual Conference in order to maintain a consistent look throughout the conference.
