Guest Registration
Guest Registration includes the Opening Plenary Session and ASCE's Ice Breaker Reception on Thursday, the Continental Breakfast on Friday, and the Closing General Session Breakfast on Saturday. Tours require an extra fee.
Tours will depart from the lobby of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown Hotel to take you to your destination. Please plan to arrive promptly as buses will leave on time. Bus loading begins 15 minutes prior to departure. Tickets are required and should be presented prior to boarding the bus. Tours are available on a first come, first served basis and have limited capacity. A separate registration fee is required. ASCE reserves the right to cancel a tour if the minimum registration is not met.

Thursday, October 29
National World War I Museum, Crown Center & Hallmark, and Union Station

Prepare for a day of great sights, irresistable shopping and delicious food. Tour the nation's only official World War I Museum, a state-of-the-art complex that uses an incredible collection and highly-interactive technology to bring this global history to life. Afterwards take a short walk to the Crown Center, explore the free visitor center's at Hallmark Cards Inc. and tour Union Station, where you will find many shopping, dining, and sightseeing opportunities. Bus shuttles will depart from the lobby of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown Hotel and loop between the different tour stops and the hotel on an hourly basis. There will only be drop-off privileges at the hotel. Maximum of 50 participants.

Friday, October 30
Nelson-Atkins Museum, Kemper Museum, and Country Club Plaza

If you have an eye for art, an interest in historical artifacts, and like the idea of a world-class shopping experience, this tour is the perfect excursion. The internationally recognized Nelson-Atkins Museum offers more than 33,500 objects from ancient times to modern day. Just a few blocks away, visit the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art and its signature Gunnar Birkerts-designed building. While in midtown, stroll through the architecturally classic 14-block district of Country Club Plaza with more than 120 stores comprised of hometown boutiques and internationally known brands. Bus shuttles will depart from the lobby of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown Hotel and loop between the different tour stops and the hotel on an hourly basis. There will only be drop-off privileges at the hotel. Maximum of 50 participants.
