ASCE Bookstore
ASCE will operate its popular bookstore again this year.  The bookstore is a great opportunity to browse through the more than 100 titles on display covering all topics in civil engineering.


ASCE Industry Leaders Council
Established in 2008, the ASCE Industry Leaders Council engages senior leaders from industry, academia, and government in developing and implementing strategic actions for the civil engineering profession.  The Council works to identify emerging industry trends impacting the profession as well as promoting innovative approaches and solutions to infrastructure challenges.  Participation in the Council provides opportunities for networking and collaboration with industry leaders in a multi-disciplinary setting to develop concrete solutions to key challenges facing the profession such as workforce development, project delivery improvement, productivity, infrastructure financing, risk management, infrastructure resilience, and sustainability.  For additional information on how you can participate in working collectively to develop innovative, long-term solutions addressing key civil engineering challenges, contact Marla Dalton, P.E., CAE, Executive Vice President, at (800) 548-2723 x6015 or mdalton@asce.org.

Book Signings
Another great reason to visit the ASCE bookstore! Keynotes, Speakers, and Authors may be available to sign copies of

Engineers Without Borders-USA
EWG-USA partners with developing communities to improve their quality of life through implementation of environmentally and economically sustainable engineering projects, while developing internationally responsible engineers. Please visit the EWB-USA staff to learn more about the communities in which they work and the infrastructure projects that they implement.

ASCE Government Relations is ASCE’s voice in Washington, D.C., lobbying and educating lawmakers on public policy
issues affecting the profession of civil engineering. Mentoring Program
This fall, ASCE is launching a consolidated effort to bring all of its mentoring programs to members from a single
location on ASCE’s website at www.asce.org/mentoring.  The programs include Section/Branch mentoring, online
mentoring, EWB-USA mentoring, and ASCE’s published mentoring materials. Each program is unique and meets different needs for members, depending upon their professional needs. Did you know that ASCE offers a variety of pre K-12 outreach resources you can use to introduce kids to civil
