Infrastructure for all Generations: Plan, Design, Build, Manage is the theme of the 2007 ASCE Civil Engineering Conference.

What better place to host this event than Orlando, Florida, where engineering infrastructure and growth are daily topics of discussion?

Central Florida’s boom and our reputation as an international tourist destination began in the ‘70s with the opening of Disney World, the first of what would be numerous world-class theme parks. The concerns of managing our infrastructure needs are evident wherever you travel – newly planned communities designed from nothing; inter-modal transportation projects to get us where we need to go efficiently; repair ecological damages caused by incorrect decisions of the past; and possibly space travel to meet the needs of future generations. The Conference sessions and tours will elaborate on each of these topics.
