Policy and Procedures

Early-Bird Registration

AEI invites registrants to take advantage of the early-bird registration discount. The deadline for early-bird registration is February 23, 2011.


Advanced Registration


AEI invites registrants to take advantage of the advance registration discount. The deadline for advance registration is March 21, 2011. Registration forms, including complete payment information, must be received by this date to qualify for the advance registration discount.


On-Site Registration


Please do not mail registration forms through the U.S. Postal Service AFTER March 9, 2011 in order to ensure your registration is processed by the March 21, 2011 deadline. After this date, registrations must be secured with a credit card. To pay by credit card, please register online or download the PDF registration form and submit it on-site along with your full credit card payment.


Speaker Registrations


All speakers are required to register for the Conference and to submit the appropriate registration fee. The Conference Registration Form and Fee Schedule can be found on page 7 of the Preliminary Program. Speakers must check in at the Conference registration desk to pick up badges and tickets. Speaker Instructions, Presentation Guidelines, AV Information, and Biographical Data Forms will be posted on the Conference Web site at http://content.asce.org/conferences/aei2011/index.html.


Guest Registration


Guest Registration includes the Welcome Reception on Wednesday and the Career Fair & Reception on Thursday.


Confirmation of Registration


Confirmation will be e-mailed to all Early-Bird and Advance registrants within one week of registering for the Conference. Online registrants should receive immediate notification following submission of the registration information. Pre-registered attendees will receive their name badges and any tickets ordered at the on-site ASCE Registration Desk during Registration Hours. If you do not receive confirmation within one week, Please contact ASCE Registration at 800-548-2723 and ask to speak with Customer Service or e-mail registrations@asce.org.


Payment Information

  • CHECK: Payable to ASCE/AEI 2011 (in U.S. dollars, drawn on a
    U.S. bank). Include attendee’s name in the memo area of the check.
  • CREDIT CARD: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club
    and Discover.
  • PURCHASE ORDER: P.O. number, company name and address or
    other billing address (includes government P.O. use).

Cancellations/Refunds


Cancellations must be in writing or via e-mail. A refund will be issued, minus a $65 processing fee, if ASCE receives the cancellation notice by March 2, 2011. Send cancellations to registrations@asce.org or fax them to 703-295-6144. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after the deadline of February 28, 2011.

Release/Waiver/Special Assistance


Photograph Release: By submitting this registration form, I hereby release any photographs that may be incidentally taken of me during these events by AEI to be used for any purpose.

Liability Waiver: I agree and acknowledge that I am undertaking participation in AEI events and activities at my own free and intentional act, and I am fully aware that possible physical injury might occur to me as a result of my participation. I give this acknowledgement freely and knowingly that I am, as a result, able to participate in AEI events, and I do hereby assume responsibility for my own well-being. I also agree not to allow any other individual to participate in my place without prior permission from AEI.
