The Architectural Engineering Institute (AEI) is pleased to announce its 2011 AEI Conference. The meeting will include several workshops, technical papers presentations, invited technical sessions, panel discussions and local tours of technical interest. The conference is geared toward a balance of academics and practitioners.
The conference will benefit professionals because it will include meetings of AEI's technical committees, a job fair for students and AE companies and industry exhibits. Students attending the conference will benefit because it will include opportunities to interact with leaders of the architectural engineering profession; partake in student meetings and elections; and participate in the finals of 2010-2011 ASCE Charles Pankow Annual Architectural Engineering Student Competition.
Many of the AEI partner organizations, education institutions and sponsoring firms are expected to participate in the conference. Attendees will have a unique chance to learn about all these organizations, while learning new and relevant architectural engineering topics that will help them advance their careers, their respective organizations and the overall state of the architectural engineering community.
