Presentation
The new aesthetic of challenging structures with complex geometries has made the integration of frame and envelope more critical for successful building performance. Recent projects, where structural form-finding and detailing have an important influence on function and appearance, will be examined from the perspectives of designer and fabricator. The presentation will review both the use of both innovative materials and integrated parametric design tools to transform concept into reality.
