Montreal and Burlington
- Both are approximately 2-1/2 hours away but have some possibility of delay.
- If coming from Montreal you may have delays crossing the border.
- Coming from Burlington you must take a ferry that runs every 15 minutes for 12-15 minutes but flight delays could cause you to have problems with reduced service in the evening, or you could take a longer route to a bridge across Lake Champlain for an additional hour.

Local Ground Transportation is offered free by way of the Placid Xpress, a trolley that runs through town and stops at preassigned locations every 20 minutes.
