Jane Chmielinski was appointed AECOM’s Group Chief Executive for Corporate Development on January 1, 2008, after serving as President and Chief Operating Officer of DMJM Harris, an AECOM Technology company, since October 2005.  In this new role, Jane leads the AECOM Office of Corporate Development, a new central office that serves as the focal point for corporate services that span across AECOM’s global operating groups – including Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Information Technology, Global Business Lines, and other AECOM-wide initiatives and activities.  Jane is a member of the AECOM Executive Board and part of the office of the AECOM President and CEO.  Given her recognition as an innovative industry leader in the U.S. transportation market, Jane will continue to represent DMJM Harris as Chair where she continues to interface with key transportation clients and selected industry organizations.

Jane understands the responsibility of corporate stewardship within her community and her profession and is personally involved in a number of professional associations including the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) and the American Public Transportation Association (APTA).  She currently serves on the Mineta Transportation Institute Board of Trustees, the New York Building Foundation Board of Governors, and the ACE Mentor Program Board of Directors and as an Advisory Board Member to the Rudin School at NYU.  A strong champion for promoting the industry through an educated work force, Jane was an active member of the Diversity Board for the Grove School of Engineering at City College of New York for several years, including a term as Chair.  She also actively participates in a number of non-profit organizations with a wide range of represented interests including her current service on the March of Dimes New York Chapter Board of Trustees.
