One of the great pleasures of being president of ASCE is having the opportunity to lead the Society through another successful and productive year.  During my term as ASCE president, this President's Page will feature monthly messages, speeches, information on ASCE initiatives, updates on ASCE's public policy activity and other material that will detail what ASCE is doing to make a positive difference in the future of our profession. International Trip Strengthens Global Civil Engineering Ties

During July, ASCE President Bill Marcuson and ASCE Executive Director Pat Natale traveled to Japan, China and Taiwan to meet with civil engineering counterparts and explore ways to further the exchange of civil engineering information and strengthen our societies through mutual initiatives.
