Can we charge a registration fee for the webinar?
No. We are offering this webinar to civil engineers at no charge because we believe the information has important ethical and professional implications.
If we hold this webinar along with our regular Section or Branch meeting, can we charge a fee for dinner?
Yes. You may schedule a dinner, networking reception or other function along with this webinar. You can charge admission for that portion of the event, but must be clear in your promotion that webinar attendance is free and open to all civil engineers.
There are expenses associated with the facility and equipment. Can we charge a fee to cover those expenses?
No. You may not charge a fee to attend the webinar. You can, however, secure sponsors to cover related expenses or host the event.
Can we solicit sponsors for the webinar?
Yes.
What equipment do we need to participate in this webinar?
You will need a computer with a high-speed internet connection in order to receive the visual presentation, and you will need an LCD projector and screen for audience viewing. The audio portion of the presentation is delivered via telephone, so you will also need a landline telephone that can be connected to a sound system adequate for
audience members to hear.
Is there a limit to how many people can participate at a single site?
No. Each registered site may include an unlimited number of participants.
Can we limit participation to ASCE members?
This webinar includes important professional and ethical information for all civil engineers. You may give priority to ASCE members but should encourage widespread attendance on a space available basis.

Our Section or Branch covers a large geographic area. Can we have more than one site registration?
Each Section or Branch will be assigned one site registration. To request an additional site, please send an e-mail to Kelly Jarvis at webinars@asce.org including the information listed above to be placed on a wait list. If additional sites become available, we will notify you. The webinar will be taped and available for future access.
