2008 Board Election

Region Boards and ASCE Sections are invited to endorse one of the nominees for 2009 President-elect. For complete rules, instructions and candidate information, please see below.

Rules of Policy and Procedure 7.6

Organizational Entities and Region Boards may endorse Candidates/Nominees for Society-level office. No endorsements shall be permitted from individuals or non-ASCE organizations. The Endorsement Action is limited to a factual statement of the vote of the governing board and shall not include any supporting rationale. The Endorsement Action is to be conveyed directly to the Candidate/Nominee by official correspondence from the Chair of that Organizational Entity or Region Board no later than June 9, 2008.

An Organizational Entity or Region Board shall endorse only one individual per office per election cycle and may undertake only the following activities on behalf of the endorsed Candidate/Nominee: publication of the Endorsement Action in their communications vehicle (i.e., newsletter and Web site). Any reference to the Society-level election shall include a link to the Society's official election Web site.
