A blog of the Coasts, Oceans, Ports, and Rivers Institute
Engaging engineers, scientists, planners and others whose work involves coasts, oceans, ports, and waterway environments is the goal of Coastal Solutions, a blog created by COPRI’s Solutions to Coastal Disasters Conference Organizing Committee. The blog seeks to increase coordination among the COPRI disciplines, streamline communication, provide a forum for discussing breaking news such as hurricanes' impact or issues of concern in the field, and increase access to coastal resources and articles. The blog also offers an opportunity to present and share lessons learned about effective coastal solutions to natural and man-made challenges.
